GULP!

Image
In Art class, I heard a boy say Aspergers and I think it's the same one who made fun of it.Yes, new reader, I have Aspergers Syndrome. I did a post on it in July The Boy who made fun of Aspergers. Something tells me that the boy who made fun of Aspergers does art in the same class as ME! GULP! I will listen out to hear if he said the same thing me did as on the bus and if he does, I will tell Ms O'Grady  about it. There are students in Portlaoise College who are autistic so the staff already know. If the boy is on social media and bullies me, I will tell my dad ASAP. He won't be happy, he wants to see the boy and tell him about Aspergers along Mr Daly who will have to explain it twice to him. Aspergers and Autism is serious business and MUST NOT be made fun of! How's the book going?   Good.

Student Funeral: Revised

I have gathered some information about the late Wayne Kelly since my Student Funeral 1 post.  Funeral Sources Wayne was born premature and fought meningitis, he was always smiling and was cousin of Jamie Moore who commited suicide in July 2015. He loved music, basketball, lighters and chocolate. His favourite song before passing was Photograph by Ed Sheeran in which was played at the funeral by a friend on the guitar, causing the mates to sobs softly. His coffin was carried to the church and graveyard by a horse drawn hearse while the floral tributes were carried in a modern hearse. Some student of Scoil Christ RĂ and Christian Brothers attended the funeral, including my old primary school friend, Holly-Rose Milist who consoled a boy she was with at the funeral.  Cara Harding's Sources My friend, Cara Harding (11, born in 2004) has a friend who lives near to Wayne's family and Cara, herself knows about the suicide. Wayne climbed over the gate into St Paul's, went i...

Student Funeral

This week, Portlaoise College lost a student who was taken too soon, Wayne Kelly. He was taken before his Junior Cert that will occur in June 2016 and I just feel puzzled. Evett says that he was walking while sick and when a man found him he died. My French teacher Ms Duggan was devastated on Monday. It was announced to the staff at 9:15AM on 28th September 2015 before being announced to students in a letter. 2015 is not a good year for Portlaoise College because of deaths of John McName and Jamie Moore. The school had a minute in silence in the last class of Wednesday, 30th September 2015 as a tribute to Wayne and tomorrow all 2nd level students will have no school. Students who want to attend the funeral can ask their parents to come with them and must wear their full school uniform to represent the school. Wayne will be buried in St Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Portlaoise after 10AM mass and 9.30 removal. He will be missed
